Nancy O'Dell began her broadcast career as a reporter and anchor at WPDE-TV which was located in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Later she was a morning-news anchor and crime report at WCBD TV. O'Dell's reportage in Charleston about the police's leniency toward DUI cases has led to an investigation by the State Law Enforcement Division investigating the DUI instances. The Associated Press honored Ms. O'Dell with its Best Report of the Years award in the entirety of South Carolina Media. O'Dell was a reporter and anchor for a time working in Charleston reporting, was a co-anchor for NBC's Miami WTVJ-TV station prior to moving to Access Hollywood where she is currently a co-anchor and correspondent on weekends. As well as her job as the lead anchor for Access Hollywood Ms. O'Dell also contributes to NBC News' Today and as well for Dateline NBC. She co-hosted several of pre-shows and arrivals shows to The Emmys as well as The Golden Globe Awards. Co-hosted also the Miss USA pageant and the Miss Universe pageant.
